Description:

Use this adapter with external 5 volts supply (2.1mm Power Jack), to supply 5 volts to some HMS Serial boards.

Most HMS RS232 boards are designed with the BrightSign as the source of 5 volts power.  If using an HMS board without internal 5 volts or 5 volts available on the RS232 connector, use this adapter to supply the 5 volts

Note: This adapter not needed it direct connect of the HMS board to the BrightSign RS232 serial port.  The BrightSign supplies 5V power to the HMS Board.
