Sync_board
Features:
This board solves the need for 'Custom Sync' cables. The Brightsign has a limitation of driving about 3 other BrightSign video players on a single channel. This board has Mosfet drivers to drive up to 100 video players. Four inputs go to the Brightsign inputs (Btn-0 through Btn-3 and four of the Brightsign I/O pins (Btn-4 through Btn-7) drive the outputs.
Under 'File, Preferences' set Btn 4 thru Btn 7 to outputs.
Set these outputs low in the attract loop or startup of the play sequence.
Programming the sync of Master and Slaves:
In order to synchronize all player, they need a 'pre-load' signal and and play signal. The pre-load command allows for the time to search the memory card and load the file (ready to play). After a pause, the master sets the signal 'play file' to high (true) and starts the video. The slaves respond to the 'play file' signal and immediately start their files.
