Operation:

The 8 buttons are normally open switches and close when pressed.  Closing the switch causes the GPIO event (button 0 through button 7) on the BrightSign.

The membrane switch panel can be rotated 180 degrees so that the 'keypad' style enclosure can be wall mounted with a slanted front (see the wall mount picture above).

Coming soon: The box will have the holes for moving the connector to the bottom of the box for 'secure' thru-top or wall installation (no visible wires)

Mounting:

Note: Mounting dimensions will be included on the schematic in the near future.

Remove the membrane switch panel (4 corner screws) to permanently attach the box to a surface (wall or desk) from the inside.  The connector assembly can be re-located to the bottom of the enclosure (order the -BM version).  Simply open the box, un-mount the connector board assembly from the rear connector panel, and re-mount the connector to the bottom of the box using the same hardware from the rear connector panel.  Return the rear connector panel to the back when putting the box back together.
