PH-4x4-BF-HC
Features:
This board solves the need for a simple 'low cost' I/O board for the
Brightsign Video Player. Four inputs go to the BrightSign and four of the
Brightsign I/O pins (Btn-4 through Btn-7) control the outputs.
This board has an inverter chip U1, so that a low on the BrightSign Btn4
thru Btn7 turns on the outputs (drives the outputs low).
The Brightness and fade adjustments are labeled to match the 'Btn number' of the BrightSign. When the BrightSign output goes low (Btn 4 to Btn 7) the associated output is enabled for drive. The brightness and fade rate of each output is individually adjustable. Adjustments are dynamic. Meaing that while the output of the BrightSign is low, the Brightness potentiometers can adjust the brightness of the outputs. To see the effects of fade, you will need to alternate the outputs of the BrightSign (on to off) to see the effects of fade. The fade rate has been limited to about 12 seconds for maximum brightness or fade to off. The Brightness has been limited to about 10% Brightness for the lowest Brightness setting. The maximum brightness is 100% (full on).
Maximum current output each driver is 2 amps. To drive more than 5 amps total, use the 0V and +V of TB2 for high current connections. 8 amps maximum total current.
Note: Connect the load from +V to 'Output' (The '-' end of the load connects to the outputs)
