Universal, 4 Opto-Coupler Interface

• 4 Opto-coupler inputs (some call them solid state relays).  For use with 3,5,12 OR 24 volts DC remote activation devices.
• Jumpers provided to select 3-5 volts or 12-24 volts inputs

This board solves the need for using a relay to convert a control signal of 12 or 24 volts DC to a switch closure.  The BrightSign and HMS Interface boards only work with 'switch closure' to 0Volts to activate the inputs.  The opto-couplers convert the applied voltage (3,5,12 or 24 volts)  input to a 'switch closure' to operate the GPIO inputs or Inputs on any 'HMS' Interface Board

There is an 8 pin terminal block marked with +V and -V for each of the 4 inputs.  The 4 inputs are labeled 1-4.  This board is utilized when a remote device is utilized to trigger an input (inputs to GPIO or HMS Interface baords).
